Water Week 2007

National Water Week began on 21st October 2007. The University of Adelaide is hosting a number of events to coincide with Water Week.

Water Wednesday: The Future of Water in South Australia

Date/Time: Wednesday, 24 October 2007, 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm
Location: Lecture Theatre G04, Napier Building

To celebrate National Water Week, the Water Research Cluster hosted Water Wednesday on 24 October. This special forum focused on the future for water in South Australia. Guest presenters include the Minister for the River Murray and Water Security, Hon Karlene Maywald, Mr Chris Stathy of Philmac Pty Ltd with an industry perspective, Assoc Prof David Paton drawing lessons from the death of the Coorong, and Dr Rod Oliver looking at the future health of the Murray-Darling Basin. The forum will conclude with an open discussion.
